On February 23, 1975, at around 6:30 p.m., two elementary school students playing near a vineyard by a Kamicho housing complex in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, witnessed an orange object flying through the sky and later encountered an alien-like creature. The unidentified flying object (UFO) incident gained nationwide fame as one of Japan's three major UFO events due to multiple eyewitness accounts and the discovery of credible physical evidence, including apparent traces of a landing site.
